Elena Verna published a substack that had us rethinking our next sprint to see if it was true.

Hey team 👋 I applied for the open Staff Product Designer position. Here’s why I’d be a good fit:
✅ 7 years of experience as a designer
✅ Just wrapped up a complex 0-1 design project using the OpenAI API to help users visualize how a new Litmus product can help them meet their email engagement goals
✅ Ready to bring my deep love for balancing business goals + design needs
Listen, I’m a Dropbox STAN ok? I’ve been a paying Plus customer for 10 years:
I know this position is for AI powered products and while my most recent experience has been in the growth space, we did manage to pitch and deliver full 0-1 features in the product (as growth tests! that succeeded!).
Our team was also heavily inspired by Elena Verna (who I know is no longer at Dropbox) but her Substack and Reforge courses detailing Dropbox’s product and growth strategies informed so many of our own thoughts on approaching designing for the user and the business.
I’d love to be considered for the position and know that I have a lot to offer and even more to learn.
Does the “Dropbox” gold upgrade button work?

Results
We had GREAT results. The real thing we learned: our long time customers didn’t know just how many features we had added to higher tier plans since they made the decision to buy so long ago.
